I've had the good fortune of leading the talented cascade team for 13+ years now. For 10 of those years, my wife Christi has been the company's controller. If you hadn't heard, we like to get outside and enjoy this beautiful state we call home.
For 13 of the last 16 yrs, the two of us have made the annual trip to Bend, OR to compete in the Pole Pedal Paddle in May. (Team name: Yo Mama.) We've missed a couple due to two pregnancies, a wedding and Christi's graduation from grad school. You could say we're kinda committed.
This unique multisport event is the largest annual fundraiser for Mt Bachelor Sports Education Foundation. Its an amazing event put on by a dedicated group of organizers and volunteers. Its become a fun annual tradition for the two of us and all the friends we see on course and at the finish area beer garden.
