The Train's Newest Passenger: Scott 2.0

cascade welcomes aboard Scott 2.0!

Just before the new year, the train made a stop to send off Scott Lansing, and to welcome aboard Scott Peerman.

In order to gain a little more insight on Scott 2.0 (also known as S2P2), we recently asked him 10 prying questions...

1) What's the last question you asked Siri?
"Qué estás haciendo ahorita, Siri?" I spent a quarter of 2014 riding a motorcycle through Central America (check out my travel photos) and have enjoyed developing my relationship with Siri through spanish conversation.

2) What were your dream aspirations as a kid?
I remember having many conversations with my family, where I would adamantly declare that when I grew up I was only going to spend $25k on a house so I could use the rest of my money to buy fun toys. While this philosophy has matured a bit, I like to think that it still pervades my current lifestyle.

3) If you could be any superhero...?
I would be Skookumbush Thunderhawk: A legend of the woods who flies into concrete jungles around the Pacific NW and saves people from a natureless demise.

4) You've been awarded a free trip to anywhere in the world; where and why?
Having traveled throughout North and South America, I would happily accept a complimentary trip to Norway to explore the mountains and fjords.

5) Ever been in a fight? If so, who started it?
Definitely. My sister was always the instigator.

6) What is your favorite place to eat?
Pambiche! The staff is super friendly, the plates are big, and the food is tasty. And those maduros!

7) What is your biggest fear?
I don't want to be sitting on the porch in my rocking chair while reflecting on my life and thinking, "I wish I would have...". Therefore, my biggest fear is also something that encourages me to live the life I want to live.

8) What was a nickname you had growing up?
Little P Man

9) What attracted you to Cascade?
A high-quality team that supports a strong work-life balance combined with an avenue to develop my creative interests is what attracted me to cascade. I'm looking forward to 2015!

10) What are your career goals?
My goals are to continue developing an amalgam of skills and knowledge while working a career that supports my lifestyle.
