Year in Review

Before welcoming the new year with open arms, we wanted to take a look back and reflect on an amazing 2014. It was a year full of everything "new". New partners. New clients. New team members. As well as new successes and challenges. We can’t thank our families and friends enough for all the support along the way and of course are client’s for joining us on the wild ride.

Here are a few highlights from this past year:

On the tracks:

We began partnerships with some AMAZING new clients and created relationships with several talented 3rd party vendors, helping improve our offerings to clients:
  • Shopify
  • Quickbooks
  • Chamber Master
  • Netsuite
  • Google Search
  • TakeFlite
  • BizVision
  • MediaCare.gov
  • Instagram

evergreen R&D:

Lastly, we're constantly looking to grow as an organization both in process and implementation. We made great strides improving our processes, and also further developing core features on the second rendition of the evergreen CMS. Here are just a few of these CMS enhancements:
  • Page Versions - Provides the ability to revert to the past 10 updates made to a content page.
  • New Rich Editor - Implementation of a new WYSIWYG Editor to improve user experience.
  • Adjustable failed sign in limit - Provides increased security and a better user experience for our clients.
  • Password Reset - Improved the ability to reset the password on an Evergreen account.
  • Admin User Groups - Introduced ability for custom admin groups and associated permissions to be implemented in the admin.
  • Optimized social media sharing - Evergreen 2 now includes several standard social media meta-tags by default for an improved sharing experience without adding complexity for content administrators.
  • Upgraded PHP version - Improving the performance and security of our servers.
  • New script engine caching - Increasing speed and performance of functions within Evergreen and sites up to 20%.
  • Improved date and accountability labels in core modules - Improved labeling for who created or changed certain items, and when they did.
  • Additionally, there are over 100 developer focused changes to improve our development and QA process.
Thanks for sharing 2014 with us! Happy Holidays from our family to yours.
