School's Out For Summer

I don't think a simple paragraph truly suffices how I feel about my internship at Cascade.

I've never felt more comfortable in a work environment than I have here and the culture that Cascade embodies is truly one that speaks to work/life balance. From the moment Ben took us to a Timbers game, to the time Chris taught me how to use the Margaritaville blender, Kyle and I found out we had similar gangster rap tastes, when Graeme wore his wooden neck tie just for me during a shoot and when Stephen and I pre-ordered the same tech gadget--I really couldn't ask for better people
to work with.

Professionally, Cascade has truly taught me invaluable lessons that I will take with me everywhere I go. I've been exposed to everything from e-commerce to digital marketing, technical consulting, project management, strategy, and most importantly, web development. Not only was I able to immerse myself in their world but I was able to also develop and hone in on my video skills as well--and that's what my passion is and Cascade was able to let me do that.

Cascade really means more to me than "just an internship that I did when I was in college". It was a real life experience that taught me that this is the sort of company that I would love to invest myself and time in, to help it grow and be the best that it can be.

Cascade ultimately represents who I am as a person--I love the outdoors, love keeping the earth as green as possible, and love producing work that can be seen, interacted with, and helps other businesses grow as well.

Like I said in the very beginning, a simple blog post is not going to adequately describe my experience with Cascade.

Cascade is family to me.
