Our Cause

This year has challenged us all and on every level. As a society, we have been poked and prodded, dissected, and analyzed. It’s been uncomfortable, to say the least. We can choose to blame the media or the winged extreme. We can choose to judge others or feel that others are unfairly judging us. Often it’s simply easier to criticize what we don’t know or understand.

We can also choose to celebrate our similarities. Even if the similarity we choose to share is as basic as being alive or enjoying a spectacular view from a peak. We believe there is truth behind what we all can share. We may not always recognize it but it doesn’t make it any less there. The warmth on our skin in the rays of the sun, the life in our lungs as we take it all in, and gravity that holds us each step of the way. These are just a few things we all jointly experience. They are not any more mine than they are yours. Regardless of economic status, skin color, or political views. We have all experienced triumph and tragedy alike.

Thank you for joining us and being part of what we all have in common, our Common Ground.
