Client: BASCO Appliances
Project: BASCO Flash Hybrid Site

Business Challenge and Objectives: BASCO Appliances is a familiar name in the Portland home builder's market. With expansion into the Seattle market in 2006, it was time to enhance their site to reflect the growing business.
Implementation and Results: A major challenge was the fact that the site needed to cater to two separate markets. It also needed high marks for usability while creating a very luxurious experience that mirrors the two BASCO showrooms. To accomplish this, we created a flash introduction that sets the stage for the user's experience with calm music and a welcome message from the company President. Once the intro has run its course, the user chooses to enter the Portland site or the Seattle site. While the location sub-sites are very similar, there are some slight differences in design and product lines carried.
Additionally, we created a custom web solution where BASCO can post clearance items for sale. This solution can be administered by BASCO employees and has proven a solid avenue to sell various products that are not suitable for floor sales.
