Summary

Vh1lovesme.com is an excellent example of how cascade is able to leverage social media to help build brands and utilize the evergreen CMS in new ways.

In collaboration with Boston-based AMP Agency, cascade developed Vh1lovesme.com to serve as a social media hub for 150 Vh1 Insiders and their Vh1 Loves Me Party guests. The idea behind the website and marketing campaign was for a select group of Vh1 Insiders to host their own Vh1 sponsored Valentine's Day parties. Party goers and hosts were asked to register on the Loves Me Party website and share their party photos, comments, and stories. Vh1 then benefited from viral marketing through the various social media channels integrated on the website.

For Vh1lovesme.com, we wanted to place every tool we could into the Insiders hands. In doing so we included Facebook and Twitter links and built the following custom apps:

Love Me Party Blog

The blog lived within the Vh1 Loves Me site and let users share their party experiences and comment on other Vh1 Insider's posts.

Photo Gallery

This allowed each Insider to create a personal photo album and link the pictures to their blog, Facebook and Twitter pages.

Email invites

Cascade used the evergreen platform to create a function that allows the Insiders to invite friends with a custom message, address and links to their party promotion blog. Partiers then could respond to the party directly in their e-mail.
