Hello. My name is Michael Shemkus and I recently joined the team at Cascade Web Development (or as we affectionately love to acronym, "CWD"). I'm a recent college graduate from Lewis & Clark College here in Portland, Oregon (coincidentally joining our company founder and president, Ben McKinley in the "L&C" alumni pool) and proudly hold a BA in Economics with a Minor in Computer Science and Mathematics. Prior to being hired full time, I had been interning here since January 2008.

I've been recruited to serve a number of roles including, Project Management, Sales, and Marketing. That means that I'll be working to relight the torch of our company blog, which has recently been populated with a number of new articles on a variety of topics, and participate in the authorship of our upcoming newsletter. I'll also be helping field support questions and maintaining client websites.
